Report: Steve Nash, Jason Kidd, Grant Hill Headline 2018 Basketball Hall of Fame Class ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski revealed the news Thursday. The trio of Nash, Kidd and Hill all made their first appearance on the 2018 ballot. In past years, prospective inductees needed to be retired for five full years to be eligible. Now, you can hit the ballot after three years. Nash spent 18 seasons in the NBA with the Mavericks, Suns and Lakers. He also won back-to-back Most Valuable Player Awards in 2005 and 2006. Kidd played for the Mavericks, Suns, New Jersey Nets and New York Knicks across a 19-year career. He is second all-time in the NBA in total assists. Hill played in the NBA for 18 seasons with the Pistons, Magic, Suns and Clippers, making seven NBA All-Star Games.
